Besides volunteering twice a week in the Shriners Lab, I shadow Alan Wall, CPO at Fit Well Prosthetics in Salt Lake City. I had met Alan late last summer as I was visiting several local clinics to meet with CPO's. I was immediately impressed with Alan's passion and expertise in the field; particularly his bed-side manners and how well he connected with and inspired his patients. Knowing I wanted to learn from the best, I asked him if I could shadow him once a week and we have since become good friends.
